Porsche is to reveal its Panamera 4S Exclusive Middle East Edition at the Qatar Motor Show, which is being held from January 26 to 29 at Doha Exhibition Centre.Limited to just 66 vehicles, this Gran Turismo is painted in Carrara White Metallic and for the first time ever features Carrera Red interior leather.
To be sold exclusively in the region, the Panamera 4S Exclusive Middle East Edition is powered by a 4.8-litre eight-cylinder engine with 400 hp, and has a combined NEDC consumption of 10.8 litres of fuel per 100km.
Power transmission is via the seven-speed Porsche-Doppelkupplungsgetriebe (PDK) and the Porsche Traction Management (PTM) system with active four-wheel drive.
Equipped with the Sport Chrono Plus package as standard, the Panamera 4S requires just 4.8 seconds to accelerate to 100 km/h with launch control activated. A top speed of 282km/h can be achieved.
“This is a very special model introduction for us as it underlines the importance of our region,” Porsche Middle East and Africa managing director Deesch Papke said.
Porsche has never built a vehicle solely intended for the region before.
