After many failed attempts, Malaysian auto major Proton is all set to enter India finally. The company will enter on its own and may indulge in contract manufacturing for its small car Saga, Sedan Savvy and MUV Exora, reports CNBC-TV18’s Swati Khandelwal Jain quoting sources.

It is learnt that Proton is likely to enter India on its own. However, it may go for contract manufacturing initially and use Argentum Motors facility in Surajpur, Noida.
