Good news for Avante fans out there! Following it’s debut at the Busan International Motor Show earlier this year, Hyundai has finally released more images of the new compact. This latest generation Avante is the best yet, with the introduction of various features that are usually offered by more up market cars. It has things like projector headlights with HID, LED taillights, heated rear seats, a Smart Parking Assist System (SPAS), a floor-mounted accelerator pedal (my favorite) and more.
It also has an instrument panel that is very pleasing to the eye. It is made up by two large dials, housing the tachometer and the speedometer. Nestled between the two dials is a colour LCD display indicating the water temperature, fuel gauge, odometer and which door is opened or not closed.
The Avante features a 1.6 inter GDI engine that is good for 138hp and 166Nm of torque. It is linked to a 6-speed automatic transmission and offers an average fuel economy of 6.06 liters per 100 kilometers. There is also a manual gearbox which brings economy up to 5.88 liters per 100 kilometers. Hyundai has confirmed that the US will get the Avante towards the end of the year. The Avante is also expected to hit Singaporean shores soon and I am very confident that it will be very well received, thanks to its good looks, nice interior and interesting features.
