South Korean automaker Hyundai, restless despite success with most things it touches, will unveil the twelfth HCD model at the Detroit auto show Monday. Called, logically, HCD-12, it's intended to show off crisp styling that -- our guess -- could wind up on a future small crossover to challenge the Nissan Juke.
The previous concept, called HCD-11 and also known as Nuvis, made the auto show circuit in 2009. Some of the Nuvis "design language," as they say in the biz, found it's way onto the 2011 Hyundai Tucson small crossover.
