2010 Redesigned Nissan Sentra

After a successful debut in 2007 and several significant improvements in 2009, the Nissan Sentra returns in 2010 with even more enhancements to its style, space, quality, performance and interior flexibility – designed specifically for those in need of a vehicle to fit their active lifestyles.

For 2010, Sentra adds a number of significant enhancements including Vehicle Dynamic Control (VDC) and Traction Control (TCS) now available on 2.0 and 2.0S models and standard on 2.0 SL and SE-R models.
Sentra’s exterior also has several revisions for 2010, including a new front fascia with new grille and new headlights and taillights. Sentra’s 16” alloy wheels will also be a new style and the SE-R 17” wheels will have a new colour paint and finish also found on the SE-R Spec V. SE-R Spec V models will  also feature summer performance tires. Three new colours are added in 2010 – Kona Bean, Anodized Orange and Snow Cap White with Matador Red, Midnight Metallic, Polished Granite, Metallic Ice and Arctic White are no longer available.
Moving inside, Sentra also shows several enhancements for 2010, including a new brighter beige interior cloth, chrome accents added to the HVAC knobs and a new white meter illumination colour. The 2.0 S model will also now feature a new 4.3” Colour Display Audio System with USB input and iPod® compatibility.
The 2010 Sentra is built on Nissan’s “C” platform and offers a standard 2.0-litre 4-cylinder engine, 6-speed manual transmission or fuel-efficient Nissan Xtronic CVT™ (Continuously Variable Transmission) and responsive handling. Inside Sentra’s spacious cabin are thoughtful and useful features, including an available 60/40 split double-fold rear seat and hidden trunk storage compartment  The 2010 Sentra is also available with a range of unexpected amenities – ranging from the luxury of leather-appointed seating to the convenience of a Divide–n-Hide™ Trunk organizer

The 2010 Nissan Sentra is the ALG recipient of the best Entry Compact Car winner. The ALG Awards honour mainstream and luxury brands as well as the vehicles in each segment that are predicted to retain the highest percentage of their original price. The Nissan Sentra also received the highest rating – 5 stars – for front impact crash safety from U.S. National Highway Traffic Safety Administration’s (NHTSA’s) New Car Assessment Program.
Overall, the 2010 Redesigned Nissan Sentra offers practicality and safety at the forefront. However, verse its competitors the Sentra offers a few more lb-ft of torque to make this compact car a joy to drive.-autoshow.autotrader.ca
