Volkswagen Golf GTI adidas edition to debut at Australian International Motor Show

Volkswagen has announced the release of its new special edition Volkswagen Golf GTI addidas edition which will officially debut at the Australian International Motor Show in a couple of weeks.
The special edition gets added features which separate it from the normal GTI, making for an exclusive package of one of Volkswagen’s best selling cars.
Unique features include, 18 inch Serron alloy wheels (named after a Finnish race course), bi-xenon headlights, adidas-badged B-pillars as well as tinted tail light surrounds.
On the inside, the car gets a highly sport-oriented makeover incorporating bespoke ‘adidas’ bucket seats with Vienna leather side supports and a golf ball shaped gear shift knob – a design which can be traced back to the first generation model.

There’s also a RCD 510 stereo system with Volkswagen Media Device Interface (MDI) and Bluetooth connectivity.
Under the bonnet the Golf GTI adidas engine is the same 2.0-litre turbo from the normal GTI which outputs 155kW of power and 280Nm of torque. The engine’s get-up-go performance is also backed by efficiency-minded technology which helps the car achieve 7.6 litre per 100km.
This limited edition Golf GTI will be available in Australia for $45,990 in five-door form with an automatic dual-clutch six-speed gearbox (DSG).-caradvice.
