French Preparing Bold Electric Car Statement for Paris Auto Show

Renault is planning annual production run of 200,000Fluence ZE electric cars.

Paris - French carmakers are making a bold statement for electric mobility at the Paris Motor Show next month, with the first production-ready vehicles on display in what could be the start of the zero-emission motoring era.
Throwing the gauntlet at their German competitors, the French, backed by massive government subsidies, are making a clear statement for electric mobility with such cars as the Renault Fluence ZE, Peugeot iOn and Citroen C-Zero.

According to Renault, prices will be between €21,300 and €26,000 (with the €5,000 French tax incentive deducted).
