Toyota announced, on Twitter, that they will unveil the long-rumored electric version of the RAV4 SUV at this year’s Los Angeles Autoshow in November. Called the RAV4-EV, this car will car will feature a new electric drivetrain jointly developed by Toyota and Tesla. It is supposed to offer the same versatility of a SUV such as the normal RAV4 but for zero emissions. That’s a hard trick to pull so let’s wait and see what they will come up with.-motorward.
