Paris Motor Show will mark the beginning of a very subtle facelift for the Lexus IS. All engines in the range have received small changes, but develop the same levels of power and torque.
Japanese from Lexus will launch a new version entry level of the IS model with a minor facelift at the Paris Motor Show. The facelift is so discreet that it can be seen only by connoisseurs mark with a fine eye for detail, only changes being made at the lights. Lexus IS’s taillights were also changed with other units, but the differences between new and old minor tailight are minor.

Optional equipment were changed and exterior colors and alloy wheels has been increased. A new type of leather upholstery is provided with a heating system in their seats and automatic windscreen wipers and mirror not bluing is included in the package above.
New Lexus model IS200d replace IS220d and is equipped with a 2.2-liter diesel enginedeveloping 150 HP and 340 Nm of torque. The unit emits 134 grams CO2 per kilometer, and Lexus IS200d needs 10.2 seconds to accelerate from 0-60 mph, while average consumption is 5.1 liters per cent. 2.2-liter diesel unit is the same as used by the IS220d, except that an output lower power and lower torque to allow lower CO2 emissions. V6 petrol engine of IS250 model were converted to the Euro 5 and the full range of engines received the same treatment, without power or maximum torque to be affected. However, prices of Lexus IS remained unchanged.
Lexus revised the F-Sport equipment level of IS range. It has a new front bumper, with a new grille and a set of 18-inch alloy wheels with unique design. New leather steering wheel receiving a paddles system for gear shifting and pedals were replaced by aluminum elements. Interior decorations are made of a material that mimics titanium and front seats are coated in a mixture of leather and Alcantara.-mibz.
