The much awaited four-wheel drive crossover from the house of Tata Motors is finally here. It's called the Tata Aria, and at first sight it?s one stunner of an MPV
Tata Motors today launched the Tata Aria, India's first four-wheel drive crossover, with the interior styling of a premium sedan and a robust outer shell like that of an SUV. Tata has targets niche 4x4 crossover market in 25 large cities through 69 dealerships. The all new MPV offering from Tata Motors has been built for multiple terrains and comes with a host of safety features, which include 4x4 Adapterra Torque-on-Demand System, Electronic Stability Programme (ESP), Traction Control System (TCS), Antilock Braking System (ABS) and much much more.
On the technology front, the new Aria is powered by a 2.2 litre Direct Injection Common Rail (DICOR) engine, with variable turbine technology for optimum performance both on and off the road.
Aria Appeal
The Aria's styling has a blend of bold proportions with both the interiors and exteriors exuding class and luxury. The interiors will incorporate premium leather upholstery in single or dual tone themes. Air-conditioning louvers on pillars and a sweeping row of roof utility spaces add to the distinctive appeal.
The three-row theatre style flexible seating ensures ample space for passengers. Both the second row and third row seats can be fully collapsed to make the car even roomier for accessories and luggage for that weekend sojourn. The height-adjustable driver?s seat and the tilt adjustable steering help configure the most comfortable driving position. -zigwheels.com
