Domasco to promote Proton, CMC brands


Doha Marketing Services Company (Domasco) has been awarded agency rights for Proton cars and CMC trucks in Qatar. 
The company is a long-established retailer of Honda and Volvo cars and trucks. 
Malaysian-bred Proton, with a 50-year history, is described as a practical, stylish and affordable transport solution. 
Proton’s partnership with the Lotus brand has underlined its well-designed attribute especially with models such as Gen 2 and Persona. 
CMC, awarded “Most Admired Corporate in Taiwan’s Auto Industry” for 10 years, have been in operation since 1969 and has produced vehicles for both Daimler-Chrysler and Mitsubishi Motors. 
CMC’s Veryca commercial vehicle lines have been exported to the Middle East since 2005 and have enjoyed popularity. 
Domasco managing director Graeme Newport stated that the partnership with Proton cars and CMC vans and trucks is an excellent opportunity to promote the brands to a market demanding functionality, affordability and reliability.
“Our new showroom along Salwa Road, near Qatar Decoration roundabout, is ready to welcome customers,” Domasco Proton and Commercial Vehicles Division sales and marketing manager Savio Saldanha said. The partnership between Proton and Domasco also allows Proton customers to undertake maintenance services at Domasco’s quick service locations on Salwa Road as well as Duhail and Al Khor.
“Our after sales facilities currently in Street 43 Industrial Area will shortly relocate to a fully refurbished facility on the easily accessible Street 10,” he added.   -gulf-times
