Mercedes-Benz R-Class 2011 generasi baru telah diperkenalkan kepada umum di New York International Show 2010 hari ini. Ia adalah gabungan kereta salun & SUV. Menggunakan enjin V8 yang mana lebih jimat daripada enjin V6. Penggunaan minyak sebanyak 7.6 liter/km iaitu lebih jimat daripada Proton Exora. Gear automatik yang digunakan adalah jenis 7-G Tronic yang diletakkan pada stering kereta. Beg udara bukan sahaja terdapat pada bahagian pemandu & penumpang hadapan malah terdapat juga di sisi pintu penumpang belakang. Lampu belakang jenis LED & banyak lagi.
